Our thanks again to everyone who made the effort to turn up - we have listened to your comments and are in the process of taking the next steps which will be shared via the website in the first instance. Get the Notes of the Meeting here. (It will open in a new window. Right click on the image with the mouse and select "Save Picture As", and save to a location on your homecomputer. Most of the Committee members live in the neighbourhood and have done so for a number of years. They are very conscious of their responsibility in managing the Hall and reflecting the changing needs of the community and are happy to listen to suggestions from other people. However, they are very aware that the Association needs new, younger people to participate in managing the Hall and planning for the future. If you are interested and could spare a little time, the Committee will make you very welcome. The Management Committee Meetings The Management Committee meets at the Hall on a monthly basis when it reviews its activities and financial matters. New projects are reported on, new hall bookings are monitored. Two representatives from the Parish Council are invited to attend. Project Group Meetings To manage its various activities, the Association creates small working groups as required to steer the Projects to a conclusion. These working groups report back to the Management Committee each month on their progress. Check out the WCA Constitution | Check out the 2008 AGM Minutes |
